    Well, yes, hmmm… Is it not “the proof of the pudding is in the eating”. That is the “test” of whether or not it is a good pudding. Other than that keep up the good work. I always enjoy it when a new panel is posted.

    You are correct, that is the original form, and I think in most of the English-speaking world still the more common one. But in America we almost always say, “The proof is in the pudding.”
    To say it the English way would sound pretentious here.
